Klarrio is a project agency specialized in building data platforms for customers to enable them to analyze and process the data.

We have been working on a wide range of projects in various domains such as Telecom, Smart Cities, Transport & Logistics, Innovative Technology Solution Providers, Public Infrastructure, … Check out some of our past and current projects and customers.

You will be part of the R&D team that delivers data platforms tailored to the needs of the customer in an agile manner. The development of these platforms requires a multidisciplinary team consisting of developers who are not afraid to take initiative and have an eye for quality. We believe in our in-house synergies between team members to create the best possible solution for our customers. Therefore we always work on a project basis and don’t do body shopping.

Your challenges and responsibilities:

  • Foster an open and honest working environment.
  • Perform performance reviews and goal setting (optionally with the assistance of senior team leads).
  • Continuous skill development, staying current with industry best practices, and fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to support their professional growth and development.
  • Oversee one or more projects and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to meet project objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to project success, and implement contingency plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with upper management to define the long-term technical strategy and roadmap for the engineering team.
  • Align team goals and initiatives with the overall objectives of the organization.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to inform decision-making and drive innovation.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, customers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and priorities.

Ideally, you possess the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree, or equivalent practical experience, in Computer Science or a related technical field involving software/systems engineering
  • Experience leading and managing software development teams in a management role.
  • Proven track record of achieving organizational goals, delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
  • Leadership in implementing best coding practices and development standards.
  • Ability to empower and motivate teams to achieve high performance.
  • Skill in identifying and recruiting top-tier technical talent.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to inspire and empower team members, set clear expectations, and provide guidance and support.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to plan, execute, and monitor software development projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate project status, engage with stakeholders, and build relationships across the organization.
  • Ability to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project delivery and quality are not compromised.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills to address issues and challenges within the team or with stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Motivation to help cultivate and maintain a respectful, inclusive working environment for colleagues, potential colleagues, and customers regardless of background.
  • Affinity with, and interest in open source software and development.
